my work focuses on the rituals women perform everyday in the care and creation of a home. I like to use found objects because recycling rather than wasting is important to me. I enjoy the slow repetitive actions that together create something new such as in the making of a patchwork quilt from old items of clothing. a sense of community and sharing is important to everyone. it is something I feel we lack in our modern lives.
