Sally Bulteel was born in London, but spent most of her childhood just outside Bristol. She has two children and now lives in Buckinghamshire. She has a City & Guilds in Fashion design and a degree in Fine Art. She will be starting an MA in printmaking later this year. She was co-ordinator for Bucks Art Week for three years and is still active on the committee. She works part time as an art and textiles technician at the John Colet School in Wendover. She has exhibited in London, Towcester, Aylesbury and High Wycombe, and at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park in 2002.
