SURPRISE, SURPRISE! is an exhibition of contemporary art which focuses on the surprising and unexpected.
Exhibits include a melting tea set, peephole boxes into colourful secret worlds, and strange machines made of umbrella spokes, twitching feathers and bicycle brake cables. In another piece, a pebble attached to a thread and an electric motor moves infinitesimally slowly up a sloping platform. There are sculptures made from cardigans, large shield-shaped paintings, a table that you are invited to crawl under, and much more.
