I like to think of the work I produce as landscapes of the mind - mindscapes. By combining objects that have very often had another 'life', the abandoned flotsam of our everyday existence, I send these things out on a new adventure, hoping to find alternative ways to look for the unexpected in the world around us. Sometimes they are brightly coloured, sometimes transparent, sometimes they hang on the wall, and sometimes they stand on the floor. I aim for work that is like the waves that look menacing but change into something serene and soothing, but still with the strength to deliver the unexpected to our feet.
