My paintings are about contrast, all sorts of contrasts, including fine art contrasted with interior design, flat painting contrasted with realistic painting, and contrasting colours that you might not think expect to see together or that might not sit easily together. My paintings surprise people because of these contrasts, and make them question what is going on.

SURPRISE is something that makes you stop and think in a different way from normal.
